Shop + Pay FAQs

Find answers to common questions about the changes to Shop + Pay.

With the new Instacart partnership, grocery and retail orders on Skip are now powered by Instacart. Because of this change, Shop + Pay will no longer be a part of Skip. We know this may be disappointing, and we greatly appreciate the dedication you've shown taking on these unique orders. We look forward to having you continue to deliver for thousands of restaurants and partners on the Skip network.

Shop + Pay is no longer available as of September 23rd, 2026. Please keep an eye on your inbox for any future updates.

Your Shop + Pay card will be deactivated. It will remain visible in your digital wallet, but you can manually remove it at any time by following the steps below:

Apple Wallet (iOS)
  1. Open the Wallet app.
  2. Tap your Shop + Pay card.
  3. Tap the three-dot menu (...) or Card Details in the top right corner.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Remove Card.
Google Wallet (Android)
  1. Open the Google Wallet app.
  2. Tap your Shop + Pay card.
  3. Tap the three-dot menu (...) in the top right corner.
  4. Select Remove payment method

All completed Shop + Pay orders, including any pending earnings or outstanding reimbursements, will be processed and paid out as normal on your next regular earnings statement. You do not need to take any action.

Your earnings structure, pay rates, and how you pick up restaurant deliveries remain unchanged. However, Shop + Pay runs and orders will no longer be available on the platform.

You can continue to work standard runs and accept restaurant orders as usual.

No action is needed from you. You can continue accepting and delivering restaurant and partner orders just as you do today—your day-to-day routine stays exactly the same.

You're a valued part of the Skip network, and that isn't changing.

Yes, absolutely. You can continue delivering restaurant and partner orders on the Skip network. We understand that Shop + Pay was a meaningful part of your experience, and while grocery and retail orders are now being fulfilled by Instacart, your role delivering for restaurants and partners on Skip remains as important as ever. There are plenty of orders and opportunities waiting for you.

No. You remain a courier on the Skip network, and you don't need to create an Instacart account or sign up for anything new. Everything for Skip continues through the Skip app.
